<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation field recognition-photographic subject recognition technique by which the process can be performed in a short time, and also, the tuning can easily be performed. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus is equipped with a radiation exposure condition setting means, a radiation generating means, a two-dimensional radiation sensor, a storage means, a scattered ray variation detecting means, and an image processing means. In this case, the radiation exposure condition setting means sets a radiation exposure condition. The radiation generating means irradiates a radiation beam conforming to the set radiation exposure condition. The two-dimensional radiation sensor converts the reached radiation beam into radiation image data, and outputs the data. The storage means stores the radiation image data. The scattered ray variation detecting means selects two radiation image data having different radiation exposure conditions from a plurality of radiation image data being stored in the storage means, and detects the variation of the scattered ray of the radiation beam from the two radiation image data. The image processing means extracts the contour of an interested region in the radiation image databased on the variation of the scattered ray which has been detected by the scattered ray variation detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
