<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of efficiently warming a fuel cell without causing deterioration of power generation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 1 having an anode electrode with fuel gas supplied and a cathode electrode with oxidant gas supplied; and a fuel gas generation device 20 generating fuel gas, supplying the gas to the anode electrode and discharging combustion exhaust gas.
