<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for an electrochemical device, and the electrochemical device using the same, with impedance as well as leakage current alleviated. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a long and slim collector 12, a lead 15 fitted in the middle in a length direction of the collector 12, and active material layers 13A, 13C fitted to the collector. Provided a distance from one end 12a in a length direction of the collector 12 to the lead 15 is L<SB>a</SB>[m], that from the other end 12b in a length direction of the collector 12 to the lead 15 is L<SB>b</SB>[m], a resistivity of the collector at 25°C is ρ[Ωm], and L<SB>opt</SB>[m]=1.9×10<SP>6</SP>ρ, L<SB>a</SB>and L<SB>b</SB>are ≥0.95L<SB>opt</SB>and ≤1.05L<SB>opt</SB>, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
