PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided printing machine and a double-sided printing method for a liquid-developing electrophotographic system by which a highly precise double-sided printing is performed. SOLUTION: The double-sided printing machine 50 for the liquid-developing electrophotographic system is configured to develop an electrostatic latent image with charged liquid toner, to successively transfer the liquid toner lying on an intermediate transfer body 2 to the first side of a printing object S and the second side opposite to the first side at a nip portion N1 formed between the intermediate transfer body 2 and a backup roller 3 to which a bias voltage for attracting the liquid toner is applied, then, to print on both sides of the printing object S. The printing machine includes: a first toner fixing means 5 that, prior to the transfer of the liquid toner to the second side of the printing object S, heats the first side by a first heating amount determined based on the assumed dryness of the printing object and fixes the toner; and a second toner fixing means 5 that heats the second side by a second heating amount determined larger than the first heating amount in a non-contact state, and fixes the toner.
