PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storing container which can attain cost reduction by reducing the number of parts as a simple structure which uses a pressurization fluid for supplying a liquid and can directly transmit the detected result of pressurization/non pressurization to a liquid consuming apparatus. SOLUTION: The liquid storing container includes a liquid storing part 120A, a liquid supply port 134A which supplies the liquid stored in the liquid storing part to the liquid consuming apparatus 211, and an introduction port 162 of the pressurization fluid supplied from the liquid consuming apparatus. The liquid storing container is attached and detached to a container holder 200 of the liquid consuming apparatus. Moreover, the liquid in the liquid storing part is supplied from the liquid supply port to the liquid consuming apparatus when the liquid is pressurized by the pressurization fluid. A contact member 140A is equipped which is exposed to an external surface of the liquid storing container and disposed at a position opposed to a first fixed contact 282 formed in the container holder at the time of attachment of the liquid storing container. The contact member 140A shifts according to a pressure of the pressurization fluid and is switched from a connection state in direct contact with the first fixed contact and a non connection state out of contact with the first fixed contact.
