PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser driving device which controls light emission quantities of a plurality of beams, the semiconductor laser driving device being capable of being reduced in circuit scale and improved in heat generation, mounting and manufacture yield, etc., when integrated, and to provide an image forming apparatus having the same semiconductor laser driving device. SOLUTION: Based on a common switch current Iswc generated by a common switch current generating circuit 2 forming a D/A converter according to a digital data signal CODEc from a control circuit 4, switch currents Isw1 to Iswn based on digital data signals CODE1 to CODEn output from the control circuit 4 are generated by switch current generating circuits SI1 to SIn.
