PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition having excellent flame-retardancy, mechanical strength, impact resistance, electrical properties, warping resistance and surface appearance. SOLUTION: The fiber-reinforced flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition contains, (B) 5-200 pts.wt. of a flat reinforcing fiber having a flatness of≥2.3, the flatness being defined by [the major diameter (d1) of the reinforcing fiber cross-section]/[the minor diameter (d2) of the reinforcing fiber cross-section], (C) 5-40 pts.wt. of a flame-retardant and (D) 0-40 pts.wt. of an elastic polymer based on (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin, wherein the weight-average fiber length of the reinforcing fiber B is≥1 mm.
