The method involves thermally treating alloy for time period of 5 to 50 minutes with temperature of 500 to 1000 degrees centigrade in an oxygenic atmosphere such that the alloy forms oxidic layers (1', 1'', 2',2'') i.e. spinel structures, on a surface of metallic components (1, 2) i.e. thermally treated foil. The metallic components are placed at a distance to each other in oxygenic and/or steaming atmosphere and come in partial electrical contact with each other by forming an electric circuit. The component (2) is exposed to light (5) when protecting the component (1) from the light. A load (8) is formed as a LED. An independent claim is also included for a solar cell consisting of two metallic components.
