<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine configured to reduce a washing time by allowing rubbing-washing as is performed by a rotary blade (pulsator) of a vertical and fully automatic washing machine. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary blade (pulsator) 58 including one or more projections 58a is so provided as to rotate freely on the bottom of a rotary drum with a horizontal shaft or a proximately horizontally tilted shaft as the rotary axis. When tumbling operation of the drum moves washing such as clothes to bring them into contact with the blade 58, the blade 58 freely moves, so that the washing also moves in a direction of the blade 58 at that time, to bring about the effect of rubbing washing while providing while the washing is effectively disentangled. According to rapid reversal of the drum tumbling or a result of a volume evaluation of the washing, on/off time of the rapid reversal or the frequency of rotation is determined, thereby allowing the machine to adjust a washing manner according to the washing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
