<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source system capable of controlling a light emission amount in a light source section more accurately while keeping manufacturing costs low. <P>SOLUTION: Utilizing light receiving results (receiving signals D11, D12, D13) by three light receiving modes different with each other using a lighting sensor 13, from the light receiving signal (received light amount) D11 measured by the lighting sensor 13, light receiving data (received light amount) D10 after the removal of measured environmental components (an A/D component Dbg and an A/D component Dos) are calculated. In this way, the control of a light source section 10 in consideration of the measured environmental components is made possible.
