<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float for preventing sinking of a small ship, for enabling a crew to wait for rescue by holding to a hull, by preventing the sinking by applying sufficient buoyancy to the ship when the ship is flooded. <P>SOLUTION: A balloon 2 is composed of mutually communicating cells 2A-2C, and is collapsible. A packing member 6 is composed of flaps 6A-6E capable of deploying by mutually breaking up and capable of forming a vessel by collecting a part. The balloon 2 is contracted, folded up and stored in the vessel when the ship is not emergency. The balloon 2 inflates by introducing gas via a gas supply pipe 5 from a cylinder 4 installed on the flap 6D, and is unfolded by breaking up the flaps 6A-6D constituting the vessel. An engaging hole 8 as an installation means to the hull is formed in the flap 6E. The flaps 6A-6D are attached with the Velcro (R) 7A-7D as a locking tool for temporarily maintaining a collection state of these. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
