PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidance device extracting information served as potential landmarks from image data to give guidance information including the landmarks concerned. SOLUTION: The guidance device obtains landmark information composed of characteristic parts of image data around a guidance location to output guidance information attaching landmark information concerned to map information around the guidance location. Accordingly, the guidance device is a part served as potential landmarks for users. Since characteristic parts of the image data are output around the guidance location, compared with outputting of the whole image data around the guidance location, high quality guidance information can be provided to users.
