PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display, in display of a plurality of file groups, a file which is exceptional not only for file specific items but also for a plurality of items contained in one file. SOLUTION: A user sets, with respect to a plurality of files, an exception determination condition including the kind of an object file of exceptional value detection processing, a path storing the object file, and items for exceptional value detection processing to the object file (name, read-only attribute, former, final updater, company name of former, formation date, final update date, size, number of sheets (in Excel (R) file), sheet name (in Excel (R) file), number of pages, and number of slides (in PowerPoint (R) file)) by use of a first screen and second screen (Fig.7 and Fig.8), and exceptional value detection processing is executed based on the exception determination condition set by the user.
