PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improved in durability by reducing a tire temperature, particularly, the temperature of the tire near a bead part. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire 1 comprises projections 11 for generating turbulent flows on at least a part of the surface 9 of the tire, and has an outer diameter of 2 m or larger. The projections 11 extend linearly or curvedly in the radial direction of the tire. The tire meets a requirement of the height of projections (mm)=√ä1/(vehicle speed(km)/tire outer diameter(m))}×29.
