PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromate-free surface-treated Al-Zn-based-alloy-plated steel sheet that excels in corrosion resistance, waterproof polyethylene foam adhesion and black discoloration resistance. SOLUTION: An Al-Zn-based-alloy-plated surface is provided with a surface treatment film formed by the application and drying of a surface treatment composition containing: a titanium-containing aqueous solution that is a mixture of a titanium compound, such as a hydrolyzable titanium compound, and liquid hydrogen peroxide; a nickel compound; an aluminum compound; a fluorine-containing compound; and a water-based organic resin that is a copolymer resin comprising: a vinyl monomer having a functional group, such as an -OH group or epoxy group; an acrylic acid or/and methacrylic acid; an acrylate or/and methacrylate having a 1-6C alkyl chain; and a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these components.
