PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for performing support to allow a user to easily and rapidly extracting a desired image group from images registered in a medical image diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: Not only character string information but the image (the representative image) representing an inspection, which is included in the inspection are displayed in an inspection list which is displayed on a display concerning the inspection for acquiring the images to be managed by the medical image diagnostic apparatus. The image which is effective for an operator in selecting the desired inspection is selected as the representative image. The selectable image is easily selected. The representative image is selected among the images not used as a positioning image, the images finally displayed, and the images acquired after positioning is correctly performed.
