PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a game machine which can effectively prevent a control element from being fraudulently exchanged or fraudulently altered. SOLUTION: The controller 1 is made into the state that an upper cover 6 and a lower cover 5 are put together by threadedly fastening one each on the left and right of respective screw holding parts 9 and 9, etc., provided on the respective upper fixing blades 26 and 26 of the upper cover 6 so as to be easily cut to screw engaging bodies 32 and 32 of the lower fixing blades 27 and 27 of the lower cover 5 with a screw 13 of a one-way type. In addition, in the threadedly fastened part between the screw holding parts 9 and 9 and the screw engaging bodies 32 and 32, the end of the screw 13 is prevented from falling by a falling prevention member 3 inside the lower cover 5.
