摘要 <p>The device has a vacuum-torsional pendulum (101) with periodic time of more than 1 hour. The pendulum includes a central cavity close to a rotational axis and filled more than 80 percentages of a volume of the pendulum, where the pendulum has a hollow-cylindrical geometry. A wall of the central cavity is made of vacuum-sealed porous material e.g. foamed aluminum and honey-comb structure, where pores in the porous material fill the 80 percentages of the volume of the pendulum. A vacuum-torsional pendulum body is connected with a retaining wire over a conical disk or a hemispherical element. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring lower or upper limits of a physical variable.</p>
