The arrangement has friction brakes (5) attached to wheels (VL, VR) of a front axle (VA) and actuated over a tandem-main brake cylinder (3) based on actuation of a brake pedal (1) initiated by a driver. An electrical recuperation brake is integrated in a vehicle-drive train. The friction brakes that are attached to wheels (HL, HR) of a rear axle (HA) are actuated by controlling an electronic control unit evaluating signals reproduced by the actuation of the brake pedal. Additional friction brakes (6) actuated by controlling the control unit are attached to the wheels (VL, VR).
