摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shock when switching between two kinds of operation modes having different states of first and second motor generators, in a vehicle having the motor generators. <P>SOLUTION: When a rotational speed of the first motor generator MG1 is reduced by a rise or the like of a vehicle speed V and when torque of the second motor generator MG2 becomes nearly zero when switching an assist operation mode Hi to an O/D operation mode, a first brake B1 is released, rotational synchronization control is performed by power generation control such that a rotational speed of MG2 nearly accords with an engine speed NE that is a rotational speed after the mode switching, and a clutch C1 is engaged when the rotational speed of MG2 is nearly equal to the engine speed NE to switch the operation model to the O/D operation mode.
