<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for improving safety of account information in a virtual channel transaction. <P>SOLUTION: With the provision including a data gathering system, a shop transaction system, and at least one user unit, safe transaction is carried out in a virtual channel, using a transaction framework that resembles an ordinarily existing shop. When a consumer makes a transaction in the virtual channel, only by the installation of a front end processor at the front end of the data gathering system, particular encryption processing for the account information recorded on a smart card is carried out by use of the smart card via a card reader on the user unit, and the encrypted account information is transmitted to the data gathering system. By this, despite that the account information is passed through the shop transaction system, the account information cannot be touched, and thus, the safety of the account information is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
