<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency stop device for a rice cooking pot conveyor, which is capable of quickly detecting the fall of a lid from a rice cooking pot or a large positional deviation of the lid and automatically stopping a conveyor before a damage occurs or becomes severe, and to provide a continuous rice cooking machine having the same, and a rice cooking system. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency stop device for the rice cooking pot conveyor includes: a conveyor for conveying the rice cooking pots; at least one linear member which is arranged above the rice cooking pots conveyed by the conveyor and is arranged along the conveying route of the conveyor; support members for slidably supporting the linear member in a direction along the conveying route; one or a plurality of detection projecting pieces attached to the linear member so as to project downward from the linear member; sliding detecting means for detecting the sliding of the linear member; and conveyor stop means for stopping the conveyor based on a sliding detection signal from the sliding detecting means.
