摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mass-expressing an antibacterial peptide utilizing a translation-coupled system. <P>SOLUTION: A genetic structure comprises two independent cistrons encoding an acidic peptide having a charge value mutually opposite under one promoter and a basic antibacterial peptide existing in a translation-coupled state. The translation-coupled acidic peptide and basic antibacterial peptide mutually electrically bind simultaneously with the expression to neutralize cytotoxicity of the antibacterial peptide. Thereby, the death of host microorganisms due to the antibacterial peptide can be prevented. Furthermore, the acidic peptide and the antibacterial peptide bound without degradation with a chemical substance or an enzyme can be separated to readily mass-produce the antibacterial peptide from recombinant microorganisms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
