<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of preventing decline of detection performance, even in the case of having a constitution equipped with a transmission route pair for transmitting transmission signals to a transmitting antenna pair separated at a prescribed interval or a switch for distributing the transmission signals to the transmission route pair. <P>SOLUTION: This radar device has an oscillator for outputting a radar signal having a lower frequency than a prescribed frequency; the switch for distributing radar signals outputted from the oscillator to the transmission route pair toward the transmitting antenna pair; and a multiplier pair connected respectively to the transmission route pair, for converting the frequency of the radar signal into the prescribed frequency and outputting it to the transmitting antenna pair. Consequently, an insertion loss of the switch or a transmission loss of the transmission route can be suppressed by reducing a frequency of the transmission signal passing the switch or the transmission route, and deterioration of the detection performance caused by intensity decline of the transmission signal can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
