<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display system wherein zoom-out and zoom-in display of a map picture is performed while the information of a scroll start point is being held and zoom-out is not performed while the scroll start point is displayed in the map picture. <P>SOLUTION: The map display system includes: a scroll detecting means 282; a scroll actual distance acquisition means 231 acquiring the scroll actual distance; a display magnification calculating means 23 calculating the display magnification of a map picture; and a start point information holding means 232 holding the information of the start point of a scroll operation. When a scroll operation is detected, the scroll actual distance acquisition means 231 acquires the scroll actual distance and the start point information holding means 232 judges whether the scroll start point has exceeded a prescribed distance range by the scroll operation. When the scroll start point exceeds the prescribed distance range, the display magnification calculating means 23 calculates, each time the scroll actual distance acquisition means 231 acquires the scroll actual distance, the display magnification of a map picture on the basis of the scroll actual distance and displays the map picture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
