PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen storage warehouse capable of blocking completely a specimen from the outside from the viewpoint of biohazard, without denaturing the specimen. SOLUTION: This specimen storage warehouse 10 is equipped with a storage chamber 1 having airtightness, capable of controlling a temperature in a closed state of a specimen gateway; a specimen gateway 2 for removing the specimen into/out the storage chamber 1; a suction means 3 capable of sucking the outside air into the storage chamber, when the specimen gateway is opened; and a sterilizing lamp 4 capable of sterilizing the inside of the storage chamber, and after closing the specimen gateway, irradiation of the sterilizing lamp is executed for a fixed time.
