PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility apparatus capable of being set to a remote controller being adapted to type of machine without requiring troublesome operation when using the remote controller in common for the facility apparatus functioning differently depending on type of machine. SOLUTION: This facility apparatus is provided with a body of the facility apparatus and the remote controller having a switch for giving commands for operation to the body of the facility apparatus and a display part for displaying the information about the functions of the switch. When the body of the facility apparatus transmits a type of machine distinguishing signal including the information for distinguishing type of machine of the body of the facility apparatus, the remote controller receives the type of machine distinguishing signal, allots the functions corresponding to type of machine of the body of the facility apparatus to the switch, and displays the information related to the functions allotted to the switch in the display part.
