PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire not only reduced in temperature particularly near a bead portion but also improved in the durability of its turbulent flow generating protrusion. SOLUTION: The turbulent flow generating protrusion 11 is provided on at least part of a tire surface 9 for generating a turbulent flow. In at least one side of the turbulent flow generating protrusion 11 in the extending direction, a protrusion storage portion 19 is formed to store at least part of the turbulent flow generating protrusion 11 when falling down.
