<p>Component is made from a high carbon-containing austenitic cryogenic steel cast mold containing (in wt.%) more than 0.15-0.6 carbon, more than 0.1-0.5 nitrogen, more than 2-22 manganese, 0-4 nickel, more than 2-14 chromium, 0.5-14 molybdenum, more than 0-2 aluminum, more than 0.5-4 silicon, 0-2 niobium, 0-1 tantalum, 0-3 titanium, 0-1 vanadium, 0-0.8 yttrium, zirconium, cerium and lanthanum and a balance of iron. The component has a trip effect under a load so that a phase conversion occurs during deforming and destruction leading to a rise of the tensile strength, fracture elongation and notch impact energy. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of the above component.</p> |
