<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit, a point management system and a computer program, enabling comprehensive and selective use of each card to obtain privileges to the maximum extent. <P>SOLUTION: According to a sequence data, conversion lists are successively read out (S104), and from the readout conversion lists, valuable points corresponding to the range of money to which an amount to be settled belongs is extracted (S106). The minimum amount in the above range of money is determined to be a settlement amount to be settled in a point addition unit (S108), and on assumption that a balance obtained by subtracting the minimum amount from the amount to be settled is the amount to be settled (S109), processing is executed to the conversion lists successively read out, and the total points of the extracted valuable points are calculated (S110). After the entire conversion lists are read out (Yes in S111), by the change of the sequence, the processing is repeated.
