<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controller capable of improving in print processing time by reducing the time for acquiring necessary part data without repeatedly retrieving structured document type data from the head when concurrently analyzing and receiving the structured document type data to acquire parts data. <P>SOLUTION: The structured document type data with a start file, page configuration data file, print target data file and resource file archived is received, and the structured document type data is retrieved from the head. An arrangement position of the print target data file acquired through the retrieval is stored. To retrieve the next print target data file to process, the structured document type data is retrieved from the stored arrangement position instead of the head by a first retrieval means.
