<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive composition which has a high light transmittance and excellent development solubility and enables red color filters to be formed in a high product yield. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation-sensitive composition for colored layer formation includes (A) a colorant, (B) a dispersant, (C) an alkali-soluble resin, (D) a polyfunctional monomer and (E) a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the radiation-sensitive composition for red color filters includes C.I.
