<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase of toner potential of toner adhering to a developing roller when printing, so as to prevent movement of the toner unrelated to an electrostatic latent image from the developing roller to a photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a rotating image carrier on which the electrostatic latent image is developed with developer, an electrifying member which electrifies the image carrier, a developing member which develops the electrostatic latent image, a supply member which supplies the developer to the developing member, a destaticizing part which eliminates potential charged on a surface of the image carrier, a developing member voltage application part which applies voltage to the developing member, a supply member voltage application part which applies voltage to the supply member, a destaticizing part voltage application part which applies voltage to the destaticizing part, and a voltage application control part which controls respective parts. When varying the voltage applied to the electrifying member, the voltage application control part controls the destaticizing part voltage application part so as not to apply voltage to the destaticizing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
