PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal and a terminal recognition method by which users recognize mutual approximation only in the case that the users are acquaintances without disclosing information regarding privacy to a third party. SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal has: a self-identification information storage part 202 which stores self-identification information which is identification information on a self-terminal; an other identification information storage part 203 which stores other identification information which is identification information on the other terminal; a mutual identification information generation part 204 which generates first mutual identification information using predetermined algorithm from the self-identification information and the other identification information; an identification information transmitting/receiving part 205 which receives second mutual identification information from the other terminal by radio; and a judgment part 206 which judges whether or not the first mutual identification information generated by the mutual identification information generation part 204 matches to the second mutual identification information received by the information transmitting/receiving part 205.
