The method involves arranging a rotational speed sensor e.g. vibration gyroscope, in a hand tool machine (HM) for detecting a rotation angle of the hand tool machine. A tool axis (A) of the hand tool machine is aligned in a calibrating position for a provided flat working surface (AF). A current rotation angle value is stored as reference valve. A current detected rotation angle value is continuously compared with the reference valve, and the comparison result is indicated as measure of an angle deviation (Delta). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a hand tool machine comprising a housing (2) an indicator module for attachment at a hand tool machine (3) a device for indicating an angular deviation between a tool axis of a hand tool machine and a working surface.
