<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can prevent the heat generated in the fixing unit from diffusing around and efficiently suppress the temperature rise of the components around the fixing unit. <P>SOLUTION: The toner container 8 is disposed adjacent to the fixing unit 12. The toner container 8 side of the case 21 of the fixing unit 12 is made of a heat conductor 21a. An air flow path 39 which is made of a metal frame 35 and a resin frame 37 is disposed between the fixing unit 12 and the toner container 8. The heat conductor 21a has a projection 45 sticking out into the air flow path 39, and the air is taken into the air flow path 39 by the exhaust fan 41 from outside the main body and led to the duct 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
