<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic method capable of increasing the introduction quantity of a migration sample to an electrophoresis gel, specially, of increasing the introduction quantity of a high molecular weight migration sample and obtaining a sufficient repeatability in electrophoresis. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophoretic method includes the step of arranging a migration sample-containing filter paper 3 on an electrophoresis gel 2, arranging a surfactant-containing filter paper 4 on the migration sample-containing filter paper 3, and arranging electrodes 5, 7 on the surfactant-containing filter paper 4.
