<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting apparatus easily changing the characteristics depending on the kind of an electronic component and preventing a rapid increase in manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounting apparatus includes a head unit 5 for rotating each of a plurality of suction nozzles 22 and moving up and down the nozzles. The surface mounting apparatus also includes an electronic component transfer device for transferring the head unit 5 between an electronic component feeding device and a printed wiring board. A rotating device 31 for rotating the suction nozzles 22 is formed of a single assembled body having motors 52, 53 and a power transmission device 56, and the device 31 is detachably attached on another part of the head unit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
