<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of appropriately noticing an elevator user of an energy saving property by a regenerative electric power from a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator device is provided with a converter 8 for rectifying an AC power, an inverter 10 for generating the AC power, a motor 2 driven by the AC power, an electric power storing part 14 for storing an regenerative electric power generated during a regeneration operation of the motor 2, a charge/discharge control part 15 for controlling charging and discharging for the electric power storing part 14, a charge/discharge electric power calculation part 17 for calculating an electric power of at least one of a motor electric power calculation part 19 for calculating a power consumed or regenerated by the motor 2 as a motor electric power and a power source electric power calculation part 20 for calculating a power from a power source 7 as a power source electric power and an electric power by charge or discharge of the electric power storing part 14 as a charge/discharge electric power and display devices 51, 52 provided in the car 5 and a landing.
