PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device for reducing a touchable temperature on its display surface. SOLUTION: This plasma display device includes protrusions 23a provided on a surface of a front filter 5 to form a rugged surface, to prevent the shape and position of the hemispheres from interfering with display cells CL of a panel and prevent degradation of display quality. The protrusions 23a are provided on the surface of the front filter 5 by integrally molding a hard coat layer made of acrylic resin, urethane resin, epoxy resin or silicone resin and the hemispheres.
