PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolayer type electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of filming on the surface of a photosensitive layer and the occurrence of voids on a formed image caused by the filming even when image formation is carried out in any use environment and, further, capable of stably retaining sensitivity characteristics by effectively exhibiting excellent charge transport ability of a triallylamine compound having a specified structure, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the monolayer type electrophotographic photoreceptor, a hole transport agent is a specific triallylamine compound and an electron transport agent has a value in the range of 27 to 50 wt.% as a solubility in tetrahydrofuran (measurement temperature: 25°C).
