摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain a distribution of the chirality of SWNTs, and remove the undesired SWNTs in a sample in which the SWNTs are dispersed. SOLUTION: As the sample is two-dimensionally moved, an excitation light wavelength, a photoluminescence (PL) wavelength and a photoluminescence (PL) intensity are measured in each minute region, and data having four dimensions such as a measurement position, the excitation light wavelength, the PL wavelength and the PL intensity is collected. A chiral index is obtained from a combination of the excitation light wavelength and the PL wavelength. A chirality distribution image is created and indicates a position of the PL intensity per chiral index (S4-S13). If a user designates the particular chirality (S15), the position in which the SWNT having the chirality exists is identified from the distribution image. The SWNT is burned by irradiating the position with a high-power laser light (S16, S17).
