PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for improving a degree of freedom in remotely controlling a device to be controlled by use of a wide area ubiquitous network, and including a control device essential for the remote control. SOLUTION: A base station device transmits, by radio, control information received via a communication network. A wireless apparatus receives the control information transmitted from the base station device. An external processing device converts the control information in accordance with a terminal to be controlled on receipt of the control information transferred from the wireless apparatus.
