PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a rotor to a simple constitution with excellent balance in a vapor engine for jetting a liquid and a vapor and rotating the rotor by reaction. SOLUTION: In an air-tightly closed vessel 1 filled with the liquid, the rotor 5 having a plurality of bent flow passages 53A-53D arranged with equal intervals is fitted into a boss part 11 of the air-tightly closed vessel 1 and is rotatably supported. On the boss part 11, a slide contact part 11A provided with a vapor feeding port and a recessed part 11B are alternately formed, and the liquid in the flow passage is outwardly jetted by the vapor fed from the vapor feeding port into the bent flow passage 53 to rotate the rotor 5. Since the rotor 5 forms point-symmetry in a cross section, it is made to a simple structure that imbalance weight is not present and a movable part or the like is not present. When the bent flow passage 53 is communicated with the recessed part 11B, remained vapor in the flow passage is cooled and disappears, and the inside of the flow passage is filled with the liquid.
