PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall easily and inexpensively installable even if an H-steel pile is diagonally driven or the height of a driven pile (height of upper end of pile) has a margin of error and having excellent reliability. SOLUTION: This retaining wall is formed by joining a retaining panel to an H-steel pipe by a joining means. The joining means comprises an anchor buried in the rear surface of the retaining panel at a predetermined position while a bolt hole formed at the front end thereof is exposed, a tension bolt having a bolt hole at the rear end and a male screw at the front end, and a receiving member having bolt holes at both right and left ends, respectively. The bolt holes of both the anchor and the tension bolt are aligned with each other, the anchor and the tension bolt are joined to each other with a bolt and a nut, and the tension bolt is so disposed as to project from the rear surface of the retaining panel in the direction perpendicular to the surface of an H-steel pile. The receiving member is so disposed on the rear surface of the H-steel pile that the bolts holes at both right and left ends are exposed to both sides of the H-steel pile. The front end of the tension bolt is inserted into the bolt holes exposed to both sides of the H-steel pile, and the tension bolt is tightened with a nut. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
