PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant hydraulic fluid composition which is best for applications which have a high risk of fire and are used at high temperature under high pressure, can be applied to a high pressure pump, is excellent in abrasion resistance, seizure resistance and sludge suppression performance, and can be used for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant hydraulic fluid composition includes: (A) at least one base oil selected from the group consisting of synthetic esters and greases; (B) bis(4-dialkylaminophenyl)methane antioxidant represented by formula (1) in an amount of 0.01-5.0 mass% based on the total amount of the composition; and (C) at least one antiwear agent selected from a sulfur-containing phosphoric acid ester, an alkyl acid phosphate, an alkyl acid phosphate amine salt, and a phosphite in an amount of 0.001-5 mass% based on the total amount of the composition. The composition has a flash point of not less than 280°C. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, and R<SP>4</SP>may be the same or different from each other and are each a 1-6C alkyl group. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
