PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid-detecting probe with a high degree of freedom of design. SOLUTION: The nucleic acid-detecting probe examines an amount of specific target genes present in a sample by simultaneously hybridizing a first probe 1 having one terminal end fluorescently labeled with respect to the target nucleic acid and a second probe 2 having the other end labeled by a quencher 6, and observing a quenching phenomenon by an interaction of a fluorescent body 5 with the quencher.
