<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for guaranteeing the closet matching in color and quality regardless of a geographical location where merchandise is printed. <P>SOLUTION: A system is provided that includes a first computer 4 that can communicate with a second computer 10. The second computer 10 sends information to the first computer 4 that includes a desired ink color and optionally includes information of other desired ink properties. The first computer 4 includes a database of data for predicting color data of ink formulations using a selected ink base color set, a software program for selecting an ink formulation based on data for a desired ink, and a software program for sending information to the second computer 10 to display the color of the selected ink formulation on a color monitor connected to the second computer 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
