PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printed matter usable with preference and like a toy (such as a game) irrespective of authenticity while easily identifying hidden characters and micro characters with the naked eye in a stage of determining authenticity when using the micro hidden characters and micro characters as forgery preventing measures of stocks and bonds. SOLUTION: Either or both faces of a paper body 1 are provided with a plurality of fold parts b (b1, b2, b3, etc.) for bending the paper body 1 in accordance with a fixed rule, and a plurality of divided hidden characters a1, a2, a3, etc. formed by minutely dividing one or more kinds of predetermined hidden characters A are arranged along a first fold-corresponding part (a hidden character layer) folded first out of the fold parts b of the one face or both faces of the paper body 1 so that the respective divided hidden characters a1, a2, a3, etc., which are arranged are reproduced as the predetermined hidden characters A at the folded end face of the paper body 1 bent in accordance with the fixed rule along the fold parts and eventually folded.
