PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector capable of detecting a plug form. SOLUTION: The socket connector includes a plurality of metal spring pins, first detection pins formed at one side of the plurality of metal spring pins and combined with a system grounding end, and second detection pins combined with a pull high resistor and having high electrical potential. The second detection pin includes an elastic metal arm extending to the first detection pin and formed on its upper part. When a telephone line plug is inserted into the socket connector, the first metal spring pin among the plurality of metal spring pins is bent downward, and brought into contact with the first detection pin by pushing down the elastic metal arm of the second detection pin.
